The 3M Healthcare Data Dictionary is a controlled medical vocabularyserver, which enables effective mapping of clinical terminology andadministrative concepts. It translates the identifiers used among differentinformation systems for procedures, diagnoses, clinical assessments, problemlists, medications and observations, and standardizes and normalizes the dataacross multiple clinical terminologies such as ICD-9-CM, SNOMED(R) andLOINC(R).
