Britney may Have to Go It Alone This Christmas

Britney Spears will spend Christmas alone, if ex-hubby Kevin Federline has his way.

The ‘Toxic’ singer had been looking forward to spending Christmas with her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston, but since snubbing off a scheduled deposition on December 12 that privilege might be disputed by Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

Kaplan told the reporters waiting outside his firm that he was told Spears was ill and therefore absent at the court-ordered date.

Sam Lutfi, Spears' friend, later told OK! Magazine that "she's very sick with high anxiety."

Kaplan didn't specify when would the rescheduled deposition, if there's any planned again, take place, reports the New York Daily News.

Though he added: "I may exercise my right to ask the court for relief."

This could indicate asking Judge Scott Gordon to cut down the little visitation time Spears has with her children.
