A coffee shop with topless female staff is set to reopen its doors in the US.
The Grand View Topless Coffee Shop at Vassalboro, Maine, had been operating in a tent after it was burnt to the ground by an arsonist in June.It will have an official reopening after owner Donald Crabtree was granted a permit to reopen in a business trailer on the site.
According to the Boston Herald, the shop's opening in February incurred the wrath of many residents, reports News.com.au.
Star Cunningham, a 22-year-old waitress at the shop, told the US's Sunday Best that criticism was a frequent visitor for them due to the lack of similar venues in the area.
She said: "I think people make a big deal about it because they're not used to something like this."
Another topless waitress, Lisa Beaudreau, 23, blamed it on unemployment, adding: "It's really hard to find a job in this area. The unemployment rate is really high."
