Norway is the best place to be a mother while Afghanistan is the worst, according to the latest State of the World's Mothers report released by Save the Children foundation.

India ranked a dismal 73rd in the list of 160 countries in spite of making good progress in reducing maternal mortality rate.
The report, released four days ahead of the Mothers Day, revealed that more than 350,000 deaths occur every year during pregnancy or child birth while more than 9 million children die even before they reach five years of age.
