Meet the Man Who Has 39 Wives and 94 Children

After boasting of the oldest father in the world, India has bagged another familial world record after it was revealed that a 67-year old man in Mizoram has the largest family in the world with 39 wives, 94 children, 14-daughters-in-law and 33 grandchildren. Ziona Chana, who lives in the Baktwang village of Mizoram, and his near-200 family members live in a huge 100-room mansion in the hills of the village. Ziona claimed that he is blessed to have married 39 wives and claimed that he is still on the lookout for more wives and is even willing to travel to the United States to marry again.

While the younger wives have rooms connected to the master bedroom of Ziona, the older wives have been given rooms in different corners of the mansion. The 67-year old is reported to like having seven or eight wives near him at any time.

Speaking to The Sun, Ziona said, “Today I feel like God's special child. He's given me so many people to look after. I consider myself a lucky man to be the husband of 39 women and head of the largest family.”
