Most Mothers Impeding MMR Vaccine Administration in UK

The autism link to MMR vaccine remains unsubstantiated, but most mothers in Britain continue to be skeptical about it.

The autism link to MMR vaccine remains unsubstantiated, but most mothers in Britain continue to be skeptical about it. What they do not know is that by denying the vaccine to their kids, they are exposing them to the danger of developing measles.

Measles can be a very serious disease if left untreated and the incidence of the disease in Britain is on the up because of lower vaccinations.

In 1998 the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine was linked to autism and panic gripped mothers, who decided to forego that vaccine. However the number of measles cases has risen to 2,000 in England prompting the government to launch a drive to increase MMR vaccine uptake.
