Stop Using Coffee Aphrodisiac, FDA Tells Consumers
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has warned consumers to stop using Magic Power Coffee as it is made up of an ingredient that can lower blood pressure dangerously.
The coffee is marketed as being able to enhance sexual power. It is made up of hydroxythiohomosildenafil, a chemical similar to sildenafil, which is the chemical name for Viagra.

"Because this product is an instant coffee labeled as an 'all natural dietary supplement,' consumers may assume it is harmless and poses no health risk. In fact, Magic Power Coffee can cause serious harm,” said Deborah Autor, director of FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Office of Compliance.

The coffee is extensively sold on the Internet. The FDA also said that thus far no serious issues had been reported with the product.
