A recent report has revealed that most of the fruits and vegetables we consume are not safe as they are found to be contaminated with pesticides.

The study conducted by the EWG found that 98% of apples tested was found to contain pesticide and 92 percent tested positive for two or more pesticides. 95% of Celery tested contained atleast one pesticide. Tests also revealed that fruits and vegetables like lettuce, potatoes, blueberries, spinach, peaches, and grapes also contained pesticides.
Pesticide contamination in fruits and vegetables is dangerous as it can cause IQ deficits in children, disturb the hormone system, and cause nervous system toxicity.
