Early results from animal studies of a single pill reveals its potential to treat many life-altering brain conditions
Early results from animal studies of a single pill reveals its potential to treat many life-altering brain conditions. They include Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis (MS), motor neurone disease, frontotemporal dementia, as well as complications from traumatic brain injury.
Scientists have developed a new class of drug which can offset inflammation in the brain.
"The drug protected against the damage associated with learning and memory impairment. Giving this drug before Alzheimer's memory changes are at a late stage may be a promising future approach to therapy”, scientists said.
