Around 26,000 candidates would appear in the entrance test tomorrow to join the MBBS course at the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) here.
These candidates will sit for the two-and-a-half-hour examination conducted simultaneously in Pondicherry, New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram to fill 46 out of the total 75 seats, the Dean the institute Dr K S Reddy said here yesterday.Eighteen seats would be filed by the Central government nominiation and the remaining 11 seats would come under the all-India quota, he said.
Reddy said that the results would be declared in a week.
