Several resident doctors of the Government Medical College and Hospital here and the representatives of Indian Medical Association today held a candle light procession in the city to protest Centre's decision to reserve seats for the OBCs in elite educational institutions of the country.
Over 100 residents of GMCH led by Resident Doctors Association secretary Kashmiri Lal took out a peaceful rally in the city.The doctors lashed out at Centre's decision to reserve seats for the OBCs in the elite educational institutions, Lal said.
He claimed that the doctors struggle against the reservation policy of the Centre for the OBCs in elite educational institution would continue.
