Paediatric Urology

Paediatric Urology is a speciality dealing with surgical problems of kidneys, bladder and genitalia in children. Often these problems can be detected antenatally and the parents may need counselling. Some of the problems require urgent management immediately after birth. It is a complex field and needs specialist experience and careful investigation to decide when a surgical intervention is required and when it can be avoided.
