Herbal tea for Kapha


Preparation

Ingredients

  • Dry ginger – 10 gm
  • Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) – 10 gm
  • Cinnamon – 3 gm
  • Nutmeg – 3 gm
  • Cardamom – 3 gm
  • Fennel – 10 gm
  • Black pepper – 5 gm

Method

Coarsely powder the ingredients and store it in an airtight container. Take one spoon of the herbal tea in a bowl. Add 150 ml of water. Boil it over a low flame for 15 minutes. Filter it and add palm sugar. Mix well and serve hot. The ideal time to take this drink is after the morning meal.
