Preparation
Ingredients
Take the dried herbs and clean them. Dry them in the shade. Make a coarse powder of the herbs. Add 60 gm of the herbal powder to 1200 ml of water. Boil in low flame and reduce the volume to 300 ml. To this decoction, add 150 gm of brown sugar. Boil till it attains a syrupy consistency. This can be stored in a bottle and refrigerated as it has a short shelf life. Take 20 ml of this syrup and add required amount of water to suit the taste. Squeeze few drops of lemon juice into it. Mix and enjoy this natural and cooling drink.
