Preparation
Ingredients :
Parboiled rice - 2 cups
Green gram - 2 cups
Herbal leaves chopped according to condition - 1 cup.
Cumin seeds - ½ teaspoon
Ajwain seeds - ½ teaspoon
Fennel seeds - ½ teaspoon
Pepper - ½ teaspoon
Dry ginger powder - ½ teaspoon
Rock salt - to taste
Ghee - 4 to 5 teaspoon
Method :
Soak parboiled rice and hulled green gram overnight. Grind it well to dosa consistency. Powder the spices and add to the batter along with the chopped herbal leaves. Add salt and mix well. Spread the batter on the tawa to make the Dosa. Serve it hot with chutney or sambar. A variety of herbal leaves dosa can be prepared in this manner.
