Indications :

Note: When the batter of dosa is fermented and if the dosa is prepared with more oil, spices and is deep roasted, it becomes heavy and produces heat causing 'Vidaha'. This kind of dosa would imbalance Pitta and Kapha.
Ingredients:
- Raw rice - 1 cup
- Par boiled rice – 3cups
- Black gram – 1cup
- Fenugreek – 3 spoons
- Rock salt – according to taste
Method :
Soak the above ingredients together(except salt) over night. Wash them well and grind them finely in a grinder, with the required amount of water. The consistency should be thick enough to make a coating on the spoon when dipped. Add salt to the batter and mix it well. Heat an iron pan. Pour the batter and spread it from the center. Pour one spoon of ghee around the corners of the dosa. Turn it with a spatula, when the corners are brown. When the other side is also roasted remove it with a spatula. Serve hot with onion chutney, mint chutney or sambar.
