Herbal tea for Vata

Preparation

Ingredients

  • Liquorice – 10 gm
  • Dry Ginger – 10 gm
  • Fennel – 10 gm
  • Rasna (Vanda roxburghii) – 10 gm
  • Coriander – 10 gm
  • Cumin – 10 gm
  • Cinnamon – 10 gm

Method

Coarsely powder the ingredients and store it in an airtight container. In a bowl containing one spoon of the herbal tea add 150 ml of water. Boil it over a low flame for 15 minutes. Filter it and add palm sugar. Mix well and serve hot. The ideal time to take this drink is during the mid- morning.
