Preparation
- Squeeze the tamarind in water.
- Boil it on a low flame after adding rock salt and turmeric powder.
- Fry some pepper and cumin seed.
- Coarsely powder it.
- Add this powder to the boiling tamarind water, after few minutes.
- Remove from fire.
- Add chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves.
- Season with ghee, mustard seeds and asafoetida.
- This can be served with rice and suitable side dish.Advertisement
