Complementary or Alternative medicines are additional therapeutic methods that can be used in isolation or in addition to the conventional treatment. These practices are not necessarily accepted universally as standard medical approaches. However they are found to ease suffering of several patients. Of late there has been better acceptance of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) along with the conventional therapies.
