Test Your Knowledge on Squint

Medically Reviewed by Dr. Pavithra, BDS on Aug 23, 2024

Human eyes face forward and coordinate together to focus on the same object. Since the eyes are a bit apart, they see slightly different images, which the brain combines to create a 3D view with depth perception.

This binocular vision helps us determine distances better, especially for nearby objects. Squint eye, medically known as strabismus, is a condition where the eyes do not properly align with each other when looking at an object affecting the vision (1).
