Sweating, is a process by which our body regulates its temperature. Sweat glands in our body release a fluid containing salt. These glands are under the control of autonomic nervous system and is hence not under our voluntary control.

Sweating is usually noticed in the under arms, on the feet and on the palms. Sweating can be a problem when it is in excess. Excess sweating can be generalized or localized. Exercise can cause excess sweating. Excess sweating can happen in certain conditions like fever, endocarditis, hyperthyroidism, menopause, generalized anxiety disorder, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, leukemia, obesity and stress.
