A recent survey has found that nearly 30 per cent Australians feel stressed and tired after the Christmas holidays.
According to the survey by online travel company Expedia.com.au, many reported feeling tired, stressed following the Christmas break, reports News.com.au.
And Gen Y seems to be feeling under pressure the most with more Gen Y-ers reporting being stressed and tired compared with any other age group, the national poll of more than 1000 people found.
About a quarter of those stressed-out are planning a last-minute escape to recuperate, and it's a tactic that's more popular with women than men.
Almost three-quarters of women revealed they felt more motivated to work when they had a holiday to look forward to, compared with just over 60 per cent of men.
