American Musician Becomes the Youngest Ever to Headline a National Tour at Age 10
A 11-year old American musician has entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest solo musician to headline his own National tour after performing over 28 shows in different cities back in 2010.
Piano player Ethan Bortnick has headlined a show in Las Vegas, Nevada and has shared a stage with everyone from musicians Elton John to Beyonce.
He was presented his certificate by an official from Guinness in New York City on Wednesday, the Telegraph reported.
Two years after he set the record as a nine-year-old, the sixth grader is hitting the road again for a 22 US city tour that's been titled 'It's All About Music,' which he described as unpredictable fun.
Bortnick had started playing the piano as a 3-year-old, after begging his parents for piano lessons. The first song that he taught himself to play was on his small toy piano.
A portion of the proceeds from his tour and sales from his new single 'It's All About Music' will be going to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a cause that is close to his heart after he watched his younger brother battle through three heart surgeries. (ANI)
