Americans' Vitamin D Levels

A recent federal government study has shown that close to 1 percent of Americans have elevated levels of Vitamin D which can turn out to be toxic.

A recent federal government study has shown that close to 1 percent of Americans have elevated levels of Vitamin D which can turn out to be toxic.


The report also revealed that a fourth of the population need to spruce up their Vitamin D levels, while two-thirds are safe with adequate levels of this vital vitamin.

Vitamin D helps in calcium absorption and is a must for bone health. Muscles and nerves also require Vitamin D so that they can function properly.
