After eating food in their hostel, students showed all symptoms of food poisoning such as abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting. Their condition is stable now.

The students are undergoing treatment at the Primary Health Center (PHC) at Guduru. The condition of all the girls is stable and they are out of danger said a medical official.
The hostel welfare officer said that the students complained of uneasiness after eating food brought by their parents on July 5.
An inquiry has been ordered into the incident said Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Irrigation Minister.
Officials from the Government General Hospital have sent a microbiologist to collect water samples from the rivulet and blood samples of the students for tests.
