by Savitha C Muppala on July 17, 2013 at 11:53 PM

Addyson Gale Cessna has created quite a record at birth. She is 2 feet tall and weighs 13 pounds, 12 ounces. She is perhaps the largest baby delivered at the Armstrong County Memorial.

The Cessna family, from Armstrong County, Pennsylvania is not able to contain their joy after the birth of their precious girl, Addyson Gale Cessna, who was delivered via C section as she was a really big baby.

Big babies such as Cessna are indeed a wonderful sight to see, but as far as health goes, they could be at an increased risk of health problems. Babies that are too large at birth are at an increased risk during delivery both to the infant and mother. The health risks just magnify in later life for both of them.

In medical terms, Addyson Gale Cessna, is a victim of fetal macrosomia.
