Are Booster Seats Safe ?

Booster seats which are meant to protect children while they are riding in a car may not be as safe as is thought to be.

During a test conducted to evaluate safety of booster seats, nearly 47 out of 83 car booster seats failed the safety standards.

A good fit is very essential for the safety of car booster seats, as an improper fit can lead to injuries during accidents.

The tests conducted did not give a clean chit to six types of booster seats. Parents must exercise caution and check the safety aspect of booster seats before allowing their children to use them.
