Students at the Middle and high school in California who have not taken the students whooping cough vaccine, will risk attendance at their schools, a move taken to check the spread of fatal diseases.

The vaccinations are not compulsory but are recommended keeping the best interests of the child.

Last week, San Francisco Unified School District did not entertain students who arrived without proof of vaccination or a parental personal belief exemption.
