A new survey carried out by Cancer Research UK has warned that cancer patients are not been advised to bank their sperm before the start of their cancer treatment.

Says Dr Ann Adams, one of the researchers from Warwick Medical School, “Our findings are very concerning and show that doctors in the UK aren't following sperm banking guidance, meaning many men are missing the opportunity to store their sperm for the future.”
Dr Adams went on to say that instead of helping all the patients who want to bank their sperm, the doctors are deciding on who should be given the facilities based on their personal opinion. The survey was published in the latest issue of the journal Annals of Oncology.
