ConAgra to Recall Chicken Noodle Soup Products Due to Misbranding

Omaha-based packaged foods company ConAgra will be recalling a large number of its chicken noodle soup products because of misbranding and undeclared allergens.

The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) revealed that ConAgra released the product with the label �Healthy Choice Chicken with Rice' but it was formulated with wheat and egg, known allergens, which were not declared on the label.

FSIS added that the products were manufactured on December 16, 2013 and were shipped to retail outlets across the US and were also distributed to the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Puerto Rico.
