Delhi Government Will Inaugurate 20 New Polyclinics on February 14, 2016

In November 2015, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had inaugurated the Delhi's first polyclinic in Kanti Nagar area of Gandhi Nagar in east Delhi. Now the AAP government will inaugurate 20 new polyclinics on February 14, 2016, to mark the day when it will be completing its one year in office, reported Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain.


Jain said, "As many as 20 new polyclinics will be inaugurated on Sunday. We will construct 150 polyclinics at various places across the city by the end of this year. The new polyclinics will be attached to the nearest government hospitals. The doctors of the government hospitals will also provide their services at these poly clinics on shift basis."

‘As many as 20 new polyclinics will be inaugurated on Sunday, February 14, 2016, in Delhi. The government would provide medical test facilities like x-ray, ECG and ultrasound at these polyclinics.’

Jain further said that the government would provide medical test facilities like x-ray, ECG and ultrasound at these polyclinics. He also said that 1,000 mohalla clinics would also be built by the year end.
