Device That Allows You to Eat as Much as You Want Without Piling on the Pounds
American inventor Dean Kamen has come out with a great tool that is likely to be loved by those who like to eat but are also wary about putting on weight. The Segway PT inventor has developed a new technique with which one can remove predigested food out of your stomach and thus avoid the fat being absorbed by your body.
Known as the Aspiration Therapy, the technique involves insertion of a tube, called A-tube. This tube is connected with a small valve, known as Skin Port, which is surgically implanted to your abdominal wall in order to allow access from the outside.
If you believe that you have overindulged any time, then you can connect a portable device called an AspireAssist to the Skin Port and pump out the additional food out of your body.
The makers claim that if you use the device 20 minutes after you have eaten, then you can remove up to 30 percent of the food before it is digested. Kamen revealed that he has developed the technique in partnership with Philadelphia based Aspire Bariatrics.
