Emraan Hashmi's Son Undergoes Successful Kidney Tumor Surgery

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi's four-year-old son Ayaan underwent a successful surgery that saw doctors remove a first stage tumor from his kidney.

The actor's uncle Mahesh Bhatt had revealed earlier that doctors had found a malignant cancerous tumor in Ayaan's kidney.

As the cancer was still in the first stage, doctors at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai conducted the surgery with reports suggesting that the tumor was not malignant but benign, though the pathology report is being awaited.

A relieved Emraan confirmed the successful surgery and thanked the doctors for their efforts. "The tumor is out. Ayaan's a fighter. The doctors have done a fantastic job, I can't thank them enough. Please pray for Ayaan", Emraan said.
