Luxury business? Luxury Connect, Indo-Italian project, will run education programmes in India with a special focus on the topic, a growing interest among the Indian middle class.

"We decided to start this programme in India because Bocconi already has links and exchange with many Indian universities and many of our top performing students are Indian who come from these exchange programme. Keeping the demands of international luxury students in mind, we have chosen India as a destination," says Stefano Caselli, a professor at SDA Bocconi, in audio visual message at an event here.
The programme will bring together people from different luxury business and give them trainings in the four different categories - education, consultancy, sourcing and e-commerce.
"The main focus of the programme will be to provide international as well as luxury corporate exposure to students. Luxury being a growing yet a neglected area in the education field, we chose Bocconi as our partner due to its' very special approach towards luxury," added Gupta, founder, promoter and CEO of Luxury Connect.
"The program, which will commence from April this year, will rotate to different metros every three months helping the respective local industry to take advantage of the program," he added.
