EU Names Christos Stylianides as Ebola Czar

EU leaders named Christos Stylianides of Cyprus as the bloc's coordinator to fight Ebola epidemic which has claimed nearly 4,900 lives in west Africa.

Stylianides, the new EU commissioner for humanitarian aid, was "named EU coordinator for fight against by ," European Union head Herman Van Rompuy said in a Twitter message.
