Exercising can curb marijuana cravings and use. This new research has been conducted by the Vanderbilt University Medical Centre.

Researchers studied a group of people who were dependant on cannabis and did not want treatment to help them give up this habit. They found that a 10-30minutes of exercising on the treadmill over a period of 2-weeks helped curb the craving for the use of cannabis by almost 50%. This study is of great importance since presently there is no way to treat cannabis dependence.

The findings of the study are published in the 'Public Library of Science journal One.'
