Farm Dog Protects Abandoned Newborn Baby

A farm dog in Ghana has hogged the limelight for having protected an abandoned newborn baby.

The dog's owner had alerted authorities when her pet did not return home in the evening. Searchers found the dog under a bridge close to the farm with the infant snuggling close to the pet.

The baby is now under the care of the local health directorate and is doing fine. The police are investigating this case to find the parents of the abandoned child.
