FitNeS Vagus Nerve Stimulator for Epilepsy Launched by CerebralRx

CerebralRx , Israel has launched the FitNeS vagus nerve stimulation system in Europe.

This device can be used to treat epilepsy with partial onset seizures that cannot be controlled by pharmacological treatment.

An implanted stimulator and stimulation lead connected to the left vagus nerve, make up the device.

FitNeS system is better than other vagus nerve stimulation systems as it uses lower currents, reduces nerve damage, and cuts current leakage through better cuff isolation.
