Former US President George Doing Well After Heart Procedure

A customary annual medical examination turned out to be a bit surprising for fitness enthusiast and former US President George.W.Bush, as doctors discovered a blocked artery.

A quick decision was taken and Mr. Bush who is 67 years old underwent a successful surgery at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on Tuesday. A stent was placed in his blocked heart artery and he was discharged on Wednesday.

Mr. Bush was always a fitness lover and has participated three times in the 100km Warrior bike ride. He gave a message to all Americans to make the time to adopt a fitness regime be it walking, swimming, or biking.
