Fortis to Launch Chain of Dialysis Centers to Broaden Access to Quality Care

Fortis Healthcare has announced that it will soon be launching a chain of dialysis centers across India

Fortis Healthcare has announced that it will soon be launching a chain of dialysis centers across India, providing valuable service to patients suffering from chronic renal failure who do not have quick access to quality dialysis.


The company revealed that the first phase of the launch will see it open up six centers in New Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) while it will be opening up similar centers in metros and Tier-II and -III cities. In total the company revealed that it will be opening up 50 centers across India and will be investing more than Rs 30 crore over the next two years.

The company added that all of the centers will feature state of the art equipment and will be staffed by experienced renal specialists. The centers will also provide patients with educational programs so that they can continue to live reasonably healthy and productive lives.

"Our target is 50 centers in the next two years. Depending upon the varied locations across the country, the investment per center would be in the range of 50-60 lakh", the company CEO, Aditya Vij said.
