HIV-Positive Student Had Intentional Unprotected Sex With Over 30 People to Spread Virus

by Kathy Jones on January 21, 2014 at 8:22 PM

A former student at the Lindenwood University has been accused of deliberately having unprotected sex with over 30 people despite being tested positive for HIV.

Michael Johnson has been charged and arrested for having knowingly spread the virus to at least one other partner.

Meanwhile police have discovered over 32 videos of Johnson having unprotected sex where in the partners had no idea that he was tested positive for HIV or that the act was being recorded. So far four other partners have come forward, leading to four additional felony charges filed against Johnson.

Urging other partners to come forward as well, the St. Charles County prosecutor, Tim Lohmar told KMOV, "It's safe to safe that numerous of those videos were taken inside his dorm room; we know that because we recognize the furniture. It's a matter of not only their individual safety, but public safety as well."
