The manner in which astronauts manage to complete everyday, mundane tasks like washing their hands, completely weightless was shown in a new video released by the Canadian Space Agency.

Shown on YouTube, the video shows the process step-by-step, the Daily Mail reported.
Hadfield squirts the solution - a mix of hot and cold water and soap - into thin air from a straw attached to a pouch and it gathers into a ball and floats upwards before he grabs it.
The solution clings to his hand and is then rubbed in, before he swipes a towel before it reaches the ceiling, and dries off.
The towel is then hung to dry so the evaporated water can go back into the space station to be used again.
The process is sort of like being in a sailboat and you need a clean, it's kind of the same thing, Chris said.
