Researchers at the University of Western Australia and Wales' Swansea University have revealed that high intensity video games may be good for children.

High intensity video gaming effectively improved children's cardiovascular health. They concluded that high-intensity gaming was a good activity for children.
"The finding is good news for parents and teachers concerned about high levels of obesity and low levels of physical activity among children. Importantly, the children who participated in the study said they enjoyed playing low- and high-intensity games and were likely to continue playing them."
