An Indian radiographer who was fired by the NHS after just two months on the job was reportedly hired after an interview on Skype.

He was also reported to make phone calls and walking out on patients whom he was supposed to be treating. Mr Sharma was finally reported to the Health and Care Professions Council who took action by suspending him after failing to meet the minimum level of competence required for a newly qualified radiographer.
“It was clear that Mr Sharma never reached a level of competence where he could practice autonomously. He never reached a stage when he could work without constant supervision. The panel has identified a number of serious deficiencies in Mr Sharma's practice”, the chairman of the disciplinary panel, Stephen Fash said.
