by Savitha C Muppala on September 21, 2013 at 8:55 AM

Brain child of Hunter Lee Soik, Shadow, is an app that enables people to make a record of their dreams at night. Not only does this serve as a record, it can be an interesting account of what people in many regions of the world actually dream about.

The Shadow app will come with an alarm clock that will wake up sleepers slowly and then help them recall their dreams. For those who are having trouble recalling what they dreamt, the app will prompt them with a series of questions to tickle their memory.

The app will also take you back to your own dream data as well as compare it with dreams of other demographics and nationalities. Users can also monitor how long they have been sleeping.

The dream content can also be used to analyze the trend of the collective global subconscious and also provide interesting insights into what famous people dream about. One can also check if their dreams are any different from that of common men.

This app can bridge the gap between our mood and activity during the day and nature of dreams at night. Further, are dreams also intuitive and what do people dream before a disaster? These are some of the interesting analyses that can come out as a result of using this app.
