New Eye Movement Tracking Device

A new technology to identify neurologic conditions will be introduced soon by French startup E(ye)Brain.

The French company has worked with neurologists at La Piti�-Salp�tri�re Hospital in Paris in developing the video-oculography measurement technology. Called the Mobile Eye Brain Tracker, it works on the premise that eye movements are linked to certain areas of the brain. By tracking these movements, diseases such as Parkinson's and multiple sclerosis could be identified.

The gadget may be made available in Europe and other countries soon, although in the US, it still waits for FDA clearance.
