A 24X7 medical inspection center has been set up at the Jodhpur airport. A team of doctors and nurses will attend to any emergency or for immediate medical attention to the passengers at the airport.

Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat inaugurated the service at the airport and said that the medical center is a major component in the proposed expansion of the civil airport. This initiative includes all types of emergency medical services with life-saving medicines and equipment.

"But the need of a fully equipped medical center with 24x7 availability of doctors and nurses was felt. This initiative would now help us provide instant medical aid to any on-board and off-board passenger or even a staff member, in case of requirement," said Singh, Director.

According to the director of Medipulse Hospital, Navneet Agarwal, a fully equipped ambulance with ICU facilities would be made available free of cost all the time.

"Besides this, we would also arrange air ambulance to airlift any patient in serious condition, if need arises. Normally, everybody is not aware of the procedure of calling an air ambulance and required clearances. We would arrange hassle-free air lifting of patients in least possible time," said Agarwal.
