Online Seminar to Assist Emergency Planners

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has put up an online seminar for its Citizen Corps organization to assist emergency planners to equip their communities to face disasters in the best possible way.

The Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had launched a zombie apocalypse social media campaign in the previous year for the same purpose.

Emergency planners were asked to use the threat of zombies to encourage citizens to prepare for disasters.

The government's recommendation plans include keeping an emergency evacuation plan in place, keeping a change of clothes, emergency flashlight, fresh water, and extra medications.
