Pesticides Up Risk of Diabetes

Risk of Type 2 diabetes was found to increase with exposure to certain pesticides, a recent study has revealed.

Organochlorines and PCB's was found to interfere with the body's ability to regulate glucose. These chemicals when present in the environment as well as in animals can pose a huge risk to humans.

The presence of some of the compounds can increase the risk of obesity, which in itself is a huge risk factor for diabetes.
