Medical students in Aurangabad destroyed their college and hostel property against the lack of basic facilities in the campus. The students of the government run institution raised a whole lot of complaints like no security to students staying in hostel, lack of clean drinking water, electricity, proper food and poor sanitation.

"As you can see, this place is not secure at all. Any body who is not even a student here comes inside and lives in the hostel. Also there are hygiene issues. There is no water in the toilets. We use the drinking water for toilets as well." said a student.

Students protested against the apathy of administration in addressing the problems faced by them.

The agitated students torched furniture and vandalized water cooler and other articles in the hostel.

The college administration took help of the local police to control the situation.
